Originally from New York City, I lived abroad for several years. Then in the summer of 2008, I decided to move back to the U.S. with my family and make Miami our home. While preparing for my black belt exam in karate, I began studying yoga as a way to supplement my martial art practice. I got hooked and never turned back. I love martial arts, but yoga is what brings balance both physically and mentally to my life.
I am a licensed Yoga Alliance E-RYT (experienced registered yoga teacher), and after many years of practicing the different styles, I’ve created a fusion Vinyasa flow. I believe in personalizing my classes to the students' needs with the thought that no two people are alike and therefore their practice has to be individualized. My classes have an element of surprise and are fun, energetic and light-hearted.
Yoga is a wonderful way to introduce awareness to the body, mind and spirit. When we become aware of the energy force within us, we light up the universe in a positive way. I try to live my life on and off the mat sharing that energy with everyone I come across. I think that is my job as a teacher.
